Founded in 1896, Fidelity Life Insurance Company sells life insurance products in every state besides New York and Wyoming.

Fidelity Life is in no way associated with Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company, now called F&G Annuities & Life.

According to the company website, Fidelity life insurance quotes start at $15 per month, but your actual rates depend on what type of life insurance policy you purchase, your medical history, and your age.

Below, compare real Fidelity life insurance rates, see what products the company offers, and determine if this company and their life insurance coverage options are right for you.

We compiled average rates for the Fidelity life insurance company below, but if you enter your ZIP code into our free online quote tool above, you can compare life insurance rates from the top providers near you.

What are the Fidelity Life Insurance rates?

On the Fidelity website, the company claims life insurance rates start as low as $15 per month, based on a healthy, 30-year-old female.

However, the starting costs with Fidelity vary depending on what insurance product you purchase.

According to the website, a 30-year-old, healthy female can expect the following costs:

  • 10-year term RAPIDecision Life: $18.49 for up to $250,000 coverage
  • 20-year term RAPIDecision Life: $33.06 for up to $500,000 coverage
  • 30-year RAPIDecision Life: $44.81 for up to $500,000 coverage

However, many different factors impact your Fidelity life insurance costs, including your medical history, gender, and age. Let’s explore the accuracy of these starting rates.

Life insurance premiums are tiered. Healthy, younger people in the preferred and preferred plus tiers pay the least.

People in average health in the standard tier pay the base price. Higher-risk applicants often receive substandard rates.

What health conditions affect life insurance? The company sites chronic illnesses, hereditary diseases, and pre-existing conditions on the Fidelity website, including cancer, heart disease, and even high blood pressure.

In the table below, we’ve compiled the average monthly costs real people pay for the different Fidelity Life RAPIDecision term lengths with a $250,000 death benefit by gender and age.

What insurance products does Fidelity Life offer?

Fidelity offers term, permanent, and final expense life insurance policies referred to as RAPIDecision Life policies.

It provides a fast underwriting timeline, securing coverage in only a few days in some cases.

The RAPIDesicion term options are available in 10-, 15-, 20-, and 30-year increments, with death benefits ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000.

You must be between 18 and 65 to purchase Fidelity term insurance.

Available riders include adding a child term policy with an additional $5,000 to $25,000 death benefit.

RAPIDecision Express comes with a much lower death benefit, between $25,000 to $100,000, with no medical exam. Optional riders include an accelerated death benefit and adding a child term.

For whole or permanent life insurance policy, Fidelity sells three different options. RAPIDecision Senior Whole Life policies are available for people between the ages of 50 and 85.

The coverage lasts your lifetime, and death benefits range between $10,000 to $150,000.

RAPIDecision Final Expense insurance is available to help with funeral and other end-of-life costs.

The coverage starts at $5,000 and goes up to $35,000 with an accelerated death benefit rider.

Finally, RAPIDecision Guaranteed Issue life insurance policies are available to anyone with no associated medical exam.

However, this will be the most expensive policy option.

If you’re between the ages of 20 and 59, you can purchase Fidelity’s accidental death benefit coverage with amounts between $50,000 and $300,000.

Available riders include auto safety, college fund, family accidental death, inflation, return of premium, spouse double tragedy, and travel benefits.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited Fidelity since 2014, and it received an A+ rating from the BBB. The company also received an A- rating from A.M. Best. Fortunately, this means you can trust the Fidelity financial standings.

Next, let’s explore the customer service reviews. Unfortunately, the complaint index for Fidelity Life as developed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is 2.75.

Most negative customer reviews reference issues with billing and collections issues.

Fidelity Life: What’s the bottom line?

Overall, Fidelity Life sells affordable term life policies, especially for young, healthy individuals.
